Maurice Webb Limited is the freehold company of The Grampians, a listed Art Deco residential building in Shepherds Bush, west London.
Maurice Webb Limited was formed in 2014 following the successful acquisition by lessees of The Grampians' freehold and head lease.
We are named after Maurice Webb, the architect who designed the block in the 1930's.
The Grampians is a Grade II listed Art Deco building and a local landmark, completed in 1936 and comprising 175 flats, six commercial units, and a large leisure space in the basement (currently under development by an independent investor).
Leaseholders of The Grampians were offered the opportunity to purchase the head lease and freehold of the building from Dorrington Residential via a Section 5A notice in 2014. This freehold purchase was one of the largest and most complex seen, according to industry professionals, and required tenacity, patience, and the co-operation of a large number of residents acting as a collective.
Maurice Webb Limited has a board of ten directors whose role is to promote the freehold company's interests for the benefit of all shareholders, and to ensure that the company meets its legal obligations. Day-to-day management of the building is the responsibility of The Grampians' managing agent Willmotts.
